2008上海国际陶艺家邀请展圆满开幕
自2006年12月至今，经一年多的精心而又艰巨的筹备,由惠生艺术中心、上海惊蛰艺术联盟联合举办的上海国际陶艺家邀请展终于在2008年1月1日在上海浦东惠生艺术中心成功举办。这10年来上海市举办的参展艺术家国家最多的大型国际展览，本次活动在海内外产生较大影响，展览得到许多国际艺术机构和著名陶艺家的支持。其中联合国教科文组织世界陶艺协会主席珍尼特·曼斯菲尔德（JanetMansfield）写序，美国哈佛大学陶艺中心主任南西·塞尔维吉（NancySelvage）学术支持，阿根廷ＳanNicolas市市长支持与表彰，同时本次活动策展人张玉山先生受到阿根廷ＳanNicolas市市长“中国-阿根廷文化艺术交流使者”荣誉勋章。
展览的主题“和谐、共生”。旨在通过展览向观众建立一种现代陶艺的全球性视野，拓展陶艺在公共空间的运用，加强各国陶艺家之间学术交流与合作。
而本次展览得以在上海高新科技企业最为聚集的地区之一——张江高科技园区顺利举办，也得益于惠生艺术中心长期旨在通过展览：展现张江高科技园区文化建设，促进科技与艺术相融合的一贯努力。
本次展览共由文献部分和实物作品两部分组成。
1．文献展部分由来自三十个国家的杰出公共环境艺术家的四百多件经典的环境陶艺作品文献，包括：建筑陶艺与壁画、户外陶艺雕塑与装置、园林景观陶艺及陶艺砖四个部分。系统展示了代表目前世界公共陶艺领域最高水平的作品概况。
2．其中实物原作展来自中国、美国、加拿大、英国、德国、澳大利亚、日本、韩国、以色列、挪威、波兰、阿根廷、瑞士、荷兰、捷克和匈牙利等近20个国家的5０多位著名艺术家的60多件优秀的陶艺作品参展。其中有欧洲陶艺中心前主任安东·赖金德斯（AntonRejinders），阿根廷国家艺术学院陶艺系主任威尔玛·维拉韦德（ＷilmaVillaverde）教授，挪威国家艺术学院陶艺系主任乌拉·里斯莱鲁德（OleLislerud）教授。通过这批作品传达出了陶艺由传统概念上的工艺品范畴，向当代主流艺术转化的明显倾向，同时通过来自十几个国家艺术家们的展出作品，我们将会从中辨认出不同国家陶艺家们之间迥异的风格特质。

Theexhibitionbysomeoftheliteratureandin-kindworkscomposedoftwoparts.1.Documentsshowsome30countriesfromtheoutstandingpublicenvironmentalartistofhundredpiecesofclassicliteratureenvironmentceramicworks,including:architecturalceramicandmurals,sculpturesandoutdoorsinstallationsceramic,landscapeceramicandbrickworkfourparts.Demonstratedthesystemonbehalfoftheworldpublicareasofthehighestlevelceramicworksprofiles.2.AnotherpartisoriginalworkexhibitionfromChina,theUnitedStates,Canada,England,France,Germany,Australia,Japan,Korea,Israel,Norway,Poland,Argentina,Switzerland,theNetherlands,theCzechRepublicandHungaryetc.nearly20countriesmorethan40outstandingartists’worksexhibitors.wewillidentifydifferentfromthenationalceramicaredifferencesbetweenthestyleoforientation.
